The low-wing cargo and mail plane did not have struts under the wing, and had smooth, all-metal construction with anti-drag cowling over an air-cooled engine. However, the design did not reach its full potential because it needed a variable-pitch propeller. The Monomail did not acquire this type of propeller until the newer, multi-engine airplanes that would replace it were already flying.BI23996 (3749b)Maximum size:5984px × 4459px (~76 MB)19.9in × 14.8in (300dpi)License type:Rights ManagedKeywords:1930s-airplanes-Boeing Field-buildings-copy space-day-exteriors-full body views-ground shots-hangars-historic production status-left side views-mail planes-Monomail-Monomail Model 200-monoplanes-photos-propeller planes-tarmac-text-trees-unpainted-unpaved ground-vintage / retroRelated Photo/Videos:View AllRelated Virtual folders:Monomail 200
